New Victoria 25th anniversary and new summer season

New Victoria Theatre, Woking's 25th anniversary and new summer season begins with The Commitments, adapted from his own novel by Roddy Doyle, starring Kevin Kennedy.

Funny Girl stars Natasha J Barnes as Fanny Brice alongside Darius Campbell as Nick Arnstein, while Strictly Come Dancing winner Joanne Clifton will be Millie in the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie.

The first collaboration between the National Theatre and Bristol Old Vic sees a re-imaging of Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre and La Cage aux Folles will star Adrian Zmed and John Partridge, while Tom Parker and Danielle Hope will star in Grease with Louisa Lytton as Rizzo.

In June, Edward Fox celebrates the work of John Betjeman with Sand in the Sandwiches followed by Ruth Rendell's mystery thriller A Judgement in Stone.

September begins with Dirty Dancing before Joseph McElderry dons the titular item of clothing in Joseph and the amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, followed by The Addams Family starring Samantha Womack as Morticia and Les Dennis as Uncle Festa.

In October, Legally Blonde stars Rita Simons and Hollywood legends Ali MacGraw and Ryan O'Neal star in Love Letters.
