The stories of 155 older women and carers have informed Swags & Tails, Open Clasp's new play which is touring the region in February and March 2012.

At a time when the care of older people is never far from the nation's thoughts Open Clasp has brought together the views, concerns and experiences of older women and carers in Swags & Tails, a comedy drama set on the day Margaret Thatcher dies, against a backdrop of the austerity and cuts.

The play will tour to Arts Centre Washington (9th February), the Customs House, South Shields (14th February), Alnwick Playhouse (14th March), Darlington Arts Centre (16th March) and Live Theatre, Newcastle (22nd - 24th March).
