The Royal Shakespeare Company and the Theatre Royal, Newcastle, have
announced details of the RSC's 2004 Newcastle season, which, this year,
will be mainly in the Theatre Royal and the People's Theatre in Jesmond,
as the Newcastle Playhouse is currently dark for major refurbishment.

Directing for the first time since becoming the RSC's Artistic Director,
Michael Boyd takes on Shakespeare's tour de force, Hamlet, with Toby
Stevens playing the role of the Danish Prince.
