6 – 8 September
Cranked Anvil presents
Cornered and Wise Men Say
Two short plays about Sunderland AFC by Jeff Brown and Paul Dunn.

19 – 23 September
Zipp!
Conceived by Gyles Brandreth and Stewart Nicholls
A dash through over a century of Broadway and West End musicals, including the complete works of Andrew Lloyd Webber in 60 seconds.

6 October
The Book of Darkness and Light
Legend has it that there was once a book of stories so strange and horrifying that it had to be buried. Hidden. Laid to rest. Discover its secrets… if you dare.

19 October
Dirty Dusting
Three cleaning ladies, (past their sell by date) start up a telephone sex line - “The Telephone Belles” – a chat line that really cleans up!

20 October
Austen the Musical
A play which explores Jane Austen’s struggle to have her work published in a male dominated era, her romances and her vow to reject a woman’s lifestyle in Georgian England.

23 – 25 October at 2:00
The Customs House presents
Wendy the Witch & the Long Lost Spell
Wendy has been trapped inside her home by The Goblin King. There’s only one way out – and that’s with magic. However, the only spell that can free Wendy was lost many full moons ago. Can she find it? Can she escape? Or has The Goblin King finally won?

Harry Panto & the Chamber Pot of Secrets
A ghoulishly spooktacular parody production for half term that will leave you wanting Volde-More!

Everyone warned against it, but stubbornness is a curious thing. One night, entirely alone in an apparently haunted room. It’s a familiar scenario, but the outcome is totally unexpected … and utterly terrifying!
