Dateline: 23rd April, 2010
Northcott Goes Dark Exeter's Northcott Theatre has gone dark and will not reopen until the Summer Festival which will run from 25th June to 10th July. As a result 27 part-time and casual staff have been made redundant, joining the nine others (including the creative director Rebecca Manson Jones) who lost their jobs when the theatre went into administration in February. The theatre has also put Emmanuel Hall, its rehearsal rooms, on the market in a bid to bring in between £250,000 and £350,000. The programme of summer workshops for ages 6-10, 11-14, 15-19 and 20+ will go ahead and start on 28th April, running until 15th July.
Please note that all three Archive indices are very long and will therefore take some time to download.
