The GamesThe Brewery in Kendal is marking the Olympic Games in London with a comedy which pays tribute to the mythical beginnings of the world's most famous sporting event. The Games, by Spike Theatre, is on Wednesday.

Nostalgic feel-good musical Save the Last Dance comes to The Grand in Blackpool.

It's a show that features the classic hits of Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman and written by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, following the success of their similar nostalgia fest, Dreamboats and Petticoats.

I Dreamed a Dream, the new musical that charts the extraordinary story of Susan Boyle's meteoric rise to stardom, comes to the Palace Theatre in Manchester.

The woman who shot to worldwide fame after appearing on Britain's Got Talent will be played by TV actress Elaine C Smith but Susan herself plans to appear at the Manchester show dates.

The BubblerNext Tuesday sees a performance of a new play The Bubbler at the Jam St Café in Whalley Range, Manchester.

It's written by Cathy Crabb and is based on the Lord Bowen poem and on Milton's Satan in Paradise Lost.

Liverpool's renowned Martini Lounge Burlesque and Variety Show returns to entertain and entice audiences after a romantic Valentines extravaganza and an April showcase. The show is held at the recently opened Epstein Theatre on Saturday.
