The Rivals at Theatre by the Lake

A sparkling comedy and an intense psychological drama complete the 2016 Summer Season of six contrasting plays at Theatre by the Lake in Keswick. The Rivals, one of the classics of English theatre is followed by Iron by Rona Munro in the Studio, opening next Saturday.

The Dressing Room, a play written by Bobby Ball—one half of veteran comedy double act Cannon & Ball—comes to Preston Charter Theatre on Tuesday night following earlier success last autumn.

The Ladies of Swing is a brand new show paying tribute to the women who brought swing and jazz to the world. It comes to Preston Charter Theatre next Thursday.

In Flame, at Salford Arts Theatre Tuesday to Friday, tells the stories of six women over two periods in 1908 and 2000.
