OperaUpClose—and personal—comes to Lancaster Grand Theatre next Tuesday when the Olivier Award-winning company presents Bizet’s Carmen.

Two more offerings from the fortnight-long PUSH festival at HOME in Manchester. In a sequel to her solo show, Hi, Anxiety, Debs Gatenby shares the highs and lows of discovering happiness. Meanwhile, Who Wants To Live Forever by Cheryl Martin is a jazz fantasy about loss, love and hope.

After three years of touring in the UK, playwright and performance artist Cameryn Moore has settled in Manchester and reprises her award-winning show, Phone Whore, at the Kings Arms in Salford from next Thursday to Saturday.

Hope Mill Theatre is encouraging Manchester’s theatregoers to support new northern talent by going along to a production in its new Powerhouse Plays programme which launches Tuesday to Saturday.
