There are two Manchester-based opportunities from the National Youth Theatre coming up.
NYT is offering drama school applicants and performers aged between 16 and 25 the opportunity to improve their audition technique at a masterclass from October 29 to November 3.
Led by top industry professionals, this innovative course will give participants the chance to hone audition skills, gain confidence and present to a panel of industry experts who will give personal feedback.
On the same dates NYT is also offering the opportunity to improve classical acting technique to the same age group.
The deadline for applications for both courses is September 10. As a special introductory offer these courses are priced at £250 for six intensive days (subsequent Masterclass Weeks will be priced at £300).
