Dateline: 3rd June, 2007 Analogue Auction PostponedOfcom's auction of the analogue radio spectrum, freed up by the switch to digital TV, which led to an e-petition on the 10 Downing Street website, has been postponed. The regulator says that it has received more than 750 responses to its Digital Dividend Review and that it needs more time to consider the comments received. It was expected to announce the sale mechanism over the summer with bids being accepted in 2008 and licences issued in 2009. Now, hoever, it has said that the announcement about how the sale will proceed will not be made until the autumn.
