A one-day event is taking place in November looking at what Panto is today: Oh yes, it really is! - Panto in the 21st Century.
The morning session starts with the keynote address given by well-known actor and comedian, Roy Hudd followed by a panel discussion.
In the afternoon, there are two workshops to chose between: Playing The Dame and Writing Panto for the 21st Century.
Amongst the speakers at the event are Professor Millie Taylor Professor of Musical Theatre and Director of Postgraduate Research at Winchester University, writers Philip Meeks and David Bown, set and costume designer Nigel Hook and the British Theatre Guide's own Pantomime Editor, Simon Sladen.
Oh yes, it really is! - Panto in the 21st Century is presented by The Stanislavski Centre and The Actors Centre. It takes place on 14 November at The Actors Centre, London.
