The cast of "Wake Up, Little Suzie!" launch the competition

Oldham Launches Another Competition

To tie in with the rock’n’roll musical Wake Up Little Suzie! the Oldham Coliseum is organising a talent competition in association with the Chicago Rock Café.

The show is set in a fictional holiday camp during the long hot summer of 1976 and to tie in with the show’s talent contest theme a talent competition will be held at the Chicago Café, on Tuesday 1st February, starting at 7 pm with tthe contest beginning at 8.00.

The contest is themed around the long hot summer of1976. There will be two prizes. The best dressed retro 70’s couple will receive tickets to see the show that runs from February 3rd to February 26th but the greatest prize is reserved for the winner of the singing competition. Guests are invited to sing any song from 1976. The winner, chosen by the Coliseum pane,l will win :

• A V.I.P night out at the Chicago Rock Café
• A V.I.P. night out at the Coliseum to see Wake Up Little Suzie
• A live appearance on the Coliseum stage as part of the forthcoming celebration of Oldham talent Oldham Bred 3.

Last week the theatre announced another competition with nostalgia sweet hampers as prizes.
