It's the long hot summer of 1976 at Tilton's Holiday Camp and Yellowcoats Suzie and Ben are pitted against one another in the bitter battle that is the annual Tilton's Talent Contest. Both Ben and Suzie are wannabe singers - but only one of them can be the eventual winner! With Knobbly Knees, Glamorous Grannies and, of course, the ever-present promise of holiday romance, this new rock 'n' roll musical will have everyone tapping along and thinking back to their own summer of love. Following on from the success of Good Golly, Miss Molly!, the same team brings a new musical night to remember packed with songs such as Don't Go Breaking My Heart, Summerlove Sensation, Under The Moon Of Love, I'll Never Fall ln Love Again, She Loves You and many more. The Coliseum Theatre are delighted to announce that they have entered into a special relationship with BritishCandy.com to treat theatregoers during the run of the musical. There will be a special competition and winners will receive special nostalgic sweets hampers. If you remember the long hot summer of 1976 then there will be some nostalgic treats for you in a hamper specially prepared to evoke those golden days. Do you remember the fizz bang of space dust and the creamy taste of Caramac? Mix in some fruit salads, black jacks and Anglo Bubblies and you could almost be listening to The Bay City Rollers on a Summernight Special. To win the prize all theatregoers have to do is to answer a simple question: which 1976 film featuring Sylvester Stallone won the best movie award at the Oscars that year ? Answers should be sent to The Marketing department at the Coliseum Theatre. Theatregoers can also leave their answer at the Box Office during any of the Wake Up Little Suzie! Performances.
Please note that all three Archive indices are very long and will therefore take some time to download.
