Winter at the Old Vic The Old Vic has announced its autumn/winter 2005 programme. There will be two productions between September 2005 and the end of January 2006. First is a production already announced: Richard II will be directed by Trevor Nunn and will star Kevin Spacey. It will run from 13th September to 26th November, following the extended run of the current production The Philadelphia Story, which, it was announced this week, will now close on 3rd September. It was to have closed on 6th August. After Richard II comes a revival of last year's pantomime, Aladdin. Running from 6th December to 22nd January, it will again star Ian McKellen as Widow Twankey but no other casting has yet been announced. Please note that all three Archive indices are very long and will therefore take some time to download.
