Two divas are attending a production of Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro. Both Marie Angel and Janis Kelly are international opera stars who have sung at English National Opera, The Royal Opera, Covent Garden, Netherlands Opera, New York City Opera and Opera North among many others.

Director John Doyle is best known for his critically acclaimed actor-musician musicals, most recently Sweeney Todd in the West End and on Broadway and currently Mack and Mabel on a pre-West End tour, both of which negan life at Newbury's Watermill Theatre.

A one woman show and a musical extravaganza. Singer/actress Marie Angel traces the story of her life from outback Australia to many of the world's major opera houses, accompanied by an intimate soundtrack of the songs which have accompanied her through her life. Her musical journey stretches from Piaf to Puccini, The Beatles to Brahms via Duke Ellington and a host of operatic divas that she has made her own.

"Other people's songs have allowed me to sing what I have found too difficult to say."

A new Drill Hall under construction show - a developing and producing programme which supports brand new work from inspiring artists.

Tickets are available from the Box Office on 020 7307 5060 and online at www.drillhall.co.uk
