Wolverhampton Wanderers FC is to sponsor a preview performance of Peter Pan, the 2015 panto at the city's Grand Theatre.

The club will put a number of tickets on sale to its members as well as donating a percentage to good causes from the performance on Friday 11 December.

Vicky Price, the theatre’s head of sales and marketing, said, “our relationship with Wolves has grown over the past 18 months. It’s very important for the city’s leisure economy that both the club and the theatre attract large visitor numbers and this partnership contributes towards that aim.”

Lynne O’Reardon, head of ticketing and membership for Wolverhampton Wanderers, added, “pantomime, like football, is family entertainment appealing to all ages. We’re continually striving to offer affordable entertainment to families and are delighted to add another exciting event exclusively for our Young Wolves fans.”

The Chuckle Brothers, John Altman and Ross Carpenter appear in Peter Pan which runs at Wolverhampton Grand from Saturday 12 December until Sunday 24 January 2016.

Meanwhile, Free Radio breakfast presenters John Dalziel and Roisin are to guest in three performances of Coventry Belgrade’s panto Beauty and the Beast on 2 and 23 December and 8 January.

Beauty and the Beast runs at the Belgrade from Wednesday 25 November until Saturday 9 January 2016.
