Now in its tenth year, the Papatango New Writing Prize is open again for submissions.
Scripts must have a running time of at least 60 minutes, be original and previously un-produced and provided in Microsoft Word or PDF formats. They must be sent anonymously with only a contact telephone number on the front page, to [email protected].
The deadline for submissions is midnight on 28 February.
The winning play will have a full production at London's Southwark Playhouse, with the playwright receiving a royalty of 10% of the gross box office and a £6,000 commission as well as full developmental Support for a follow-up play. The script will also be published by Nick Hern Books.
Every entrant will be sent feedback on his or her script.
