Producer Pulls Personals The national tour of Personals the Musical, an early musical version of the hit US TV sitcom Friends, has been cancelled by its producer, Oscada. No reason has been given but, according to a report in today's Independent, there rumour is that the problem is financial. The production, starring Gary Wilmot, was due to open at the Blackpool Grand on 3rd March before going on to the Bournemouth Pavilion, the Princess Theatre Torquay, the Darlington Civc, the New Wimbledon Theatre, the New Theatre Hull, the York Grand Opera House, the Manchester Opera House, the Jersey Opera House, the Orchard at Dartford, the Plymouth Theatre Royal, the Cardiff New, the Oxford New, the Nottingham Theatre Royal and the Wycomble Swan.
