Pillowman to Tour

The National Theatre is to tour Martin McDonagh’s The Pillowman during 2005. The play, which starred David Tennant, Adam Godley, Nigel Lindsay and Jim Broadbent when it played in the Cottesloe between November 2003 and and March 2004, will have a new cast for the tour.

It opens at the Oxford Playhouse on 27th January and will then go on to Bath, Brighton, Newcastle, Warwick, Salford and Cork. Casting is to be announced later.

Also due to tour later in 2005 is Alan Bennet's The History Boys, currently playing in the Lyttelton.
