Pinter At The BBC

The BBC is to present a major series of programmes on Harold Pinter, called Pinter At The BBC, from 26th October to 15th November. The tribute will not be confined to TV or even just one channel, but will air on BBC2, BBC4 (the new digital station), and Radios 3 and 4. There is also a mini-website devoted to Pinter, online now, at http://www.bbc.co.uk/pinter/.

This is the biggest tribute ever given by the BBC to a living writer and Pinter says that he is delighted to be around to see it, for her was diagnosed as having cancer of the throat earlier this year and has just been given the all-clear.
