No More Plays, Says Pinter "I think I've stopped writing plays now," Harold Pinter told Mark Lawson on the Radio 4 programme Front Row. He has written, he added, some 29 plays, and that's "enough for me." He has not, however, given up writing. He is still writing poetry - War, his collection of anti-war poems, was published in 2003 - and is spending more time on politics. He has, he said, been making many political speeches and will continue to do so as he finds the current state of affairs "very worrying". Pinter, whose last play was his adaptation of Proust's Remembrance Of Things Past, is now 74. Please note that all three Archive indices are very long and will therefore take some time to download.
