Pitch Your Play Winners

Josh Beaumont, Ben Weatherill, Emma Whipday, Jake Smith and Joel Samuels Credit: Masterclass at the Theatre Royal Haymarket

The winners have been announced for The Theatre Royal Haymarket Masterclass Trust initiative for young theatre professionals, Pitch Your Play.

The three plays that will have rehearsed readings at the Theatre Royal Haymarket are:

  • Shakespeare’s Sister by Emma Whipday which will be directed by Asia Osborne and produced by James Marsden
  • Reasonable Doubt (working title) by Joel Samuels will be produced by Rosie Clark
  • Arthur by Ben Weatherill which will be directed by Jake Smith and produced by Josh Beaumont

All applicants had to be aged between 17 and 30 and all the submissions had to be of new, unpublished pieces of writing.
