Plays in the park
Henry IV Part 1
Robin Hood
Much Ado About Nothing

Sunderland-based Theatre Space NE will be yet again presenting three plays in Sunderland parks and at Alnwick Castle this summer.

There’ll be two Shakespeares (Henry IV pt. 1 and Much Ado about Nothing) and one kids’ comedy show (Robin Hood) and they are all performed in the open air and in promenade, as Guides lead the audiences round the various spaces. Henry IV and Robin Hood will be performed at Alnwick.

Robin Hood is a new play for children and families specially written for the season by local playwright David Farn.

There are no tickets for the Park shows, although audiences are asked to make a donation of £10 (or more, should you wish to) at the end of the performance as the season is not funded. However tickets for the Alnwick Castle shows must be purchased in advance online or in person at the box office.
