A new interactive pop-up theatre night in Manchester offers alternative perspectives on political issues.

Freelance theatre director Joe Mellor has joined forces with The Politics Project and Ransack Theatre to bring people together and get them talking politics in an evening of theatre, music, drink, food and conversation, Slingshot.

The group will commission four of the country’s most exciting playwrights to pen monologues on the state of the nation. The challenge: they have to write the opposite of what they actually believe.
