Dateline: 21st April, 2009
Peter Pan Casting Casting has been announced for the new version by Tanya Ronder of Peter Pan which will play in a specially designed 1,100-seater tent in Kensington Gardens this summer. Jonathan Hyde plays Mr Darling and Captain Hook, alongside Ciaran Kellgren (Peter) and Abby Ford (Wendy), and they are joined in the cast by Karen Ascoe (Mrs Darling/Never Bird), Itxaso Moreno (Tinkerbell), Arthur Wilson (John) and David Poynor (Michael). The production, which features design and 360 degree projections using CGI technology by William Dudley, is directed by former Almeida associate director Ben Harrison. It runs from 10th June (previews from 26th May) to 30th August.
