Cul-de-sac Theatre Company is to perform in Scrivener’s Bookshop at Buxton Fringe a Terry Pratchett-inspired fantasy Return to Eredurf, penned by Janet Hopley—one of the shop’s bookbinders.

It is a promenade show which takes place over the five floors of Scrivener’s Bookshop. A maximum of 12 people at a time can be accommodated.

In the production, Miriam Nerdlane needs the audience’s help. After “a breach in the space-time continuum, a reconstruction of a shattered portal to a parallel universe is required. It’s clear that there’s been a bit of inter-dimensional tinkering at Scrivener’s but with the audience’s help Scrivener’s will get back on track”.

The audience “can expect strange encounters on the journey, so a sense of the ridiculous is absolutely essential!”

Return to Eredurf is a family-friendly show suitable for those aged eight and above. It will be performed at Scrivener’s on High Street, Buxton from Monday 18 until Saturday 23 July at 7PM.
