Rapture Tours Two Scottish Premieres

Scottish theatre company Rapture are to give two of the most successful plays in recent years their Scottish premieres this year.

From 30th April to 18th June 2005 they will tour Joe Penhall's award winning Blue/Orange. The play had its world premiere at the National Theatre in 2000 and has subsequently won the following awards:

• London Evening Standard Award for Best New Play 2000
• Critics' Circle Award for Best New Play 2000
• Olivier Award for Best New Play 2001

In the autumn, Rapture will present Damages by Steve Thompson.

Tour schedules have yet to be announced.
