Redgrave to Star in Globe Pericles Corin Redgrave is to make his debut at Shakespeare's Globe in the title role of Shakespeare's Pericles (2nd June to 1st October, previews from 20th May). The other cast members are Jude Akuwudike, Matt Costain, Harry Gostelow, Iisa Ilona Jantti, Matilda Leyser, Robert Luckay (as Pericles the Younger), Marcello Magni, Victoria McManus, Jules Melvin, Patrice Naiambana, Alex Poulter, Laura Rees, Hilary Tones and Aaron Walker, and Kathryn Hunter directs. Redgrave is, he says, "very excited" to be performing at the Globe. "I have stood amongst the groundlings for nearly a decad," he added, "and I am in love with this wonderful space."
