Rebecca Keatley from CBeebies will play Fairy Moonbeam in Sleeping Beauty, the Christmas 2016 production at Lichfield Garrick.

She appears in the TV shows Let’s Play and Time for School. She says she is excited to be performing at the Garrick.

“I’m delighted to be spending the festive season in Lichfield. I’m looking forward to spreading some fairy magic and taking part in this spellbinding Christmas pantomime.”

Sutton Coldfield-based dame Sam Rabone is Nurse Nelly. Lloyd Davies plays the Prince, Siani Owen is the baddie Carabosse and Jo-Anne Stevens plays Sleeping Beauty. The cast also includes Ben Thornton and Ian Billings.

Sleeping Beauty is the first pantomime at the Garrick to be co-produced with Evolution Productions. It is the first one under the full direction of the theatre’s artistic director Tim Ford. It runs at the Garrick from Thursday 1 until Saturday 31 December.
