Dateline: 2nd February, 2005
Reduced to Nothing for Eight Weeks The Reduced Shakespeare Company and their shows The Complete Works of Shakespeare (abridged), The Complete History of America (abridged) and The Bible: The Complete Word of God (abridged) will be taking a short break after ten years at London's Criterion Theatre. The last performance will be on 3rd April and the company will return on 31st May. In the intervening eight weeks the theatre will be occupied by Amajuba: Like Doves We Rise. The company are using the short break - which they will take in the US - to start work on a new show, The Complete Hollywood (abridged), which they expect to open in the autumn. The current UK tour of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) will continue uninterrupted through to July. Please note that all three Archive indices are very long and will therefore take some time to download.
