Twenty years after the last rep company trod the boards at Swanage’s Mowlem Theatre, the venue will have its first new rep season managed by theatre production company, Hordern Ciani, who hosted the recent launch event.
Katherine Mount of Hordern Ciani said, “we’re proud that Swanage can be named as one of the first and only places where repertory theatre is making its comeback. It’s a big thing for small, Victorian seaside port.”
The rep programme includes British sitcom Yes, Prime Minister, classic children’s story The Secret Garden and comic thriller The Game’s Afoot.
