Royal Exchange announces the rest of 25th anniversary season

Manchester's Royal Exchange Theare has announced the second part of its 25th anniversary season, which runs until 3rd August, 2002.

The first half - which is still running, with Priestley's Time and the Conways and Pinter's The Homecoming yet to be performed - concentrated on world classics, whilst the concluding half focuses on comedy, with productions of

A Midsummer Night's Dream
Directed by Lucy Bailey: from 6th March to 20th April

American Buffalo by David Mamet
Direted by Gregory Hersov and starring Mike McShane: from 24th April to 18th May

The Marriage of Figaro (Beaumarchais)
Directed by Helena Kaut Howson: from 22nd May to 22nd June

Sex, Chips and Rock 'n' Roll written by Debbie Horsfield with music by Mike Moran (world premiere)
Directed by Marianne Elliott: from 26th June to 3rd August (coinciding with the Commonwealth Games)
