On May 19 to 21 in the George Street Quarter of St Helens, a roaming performance produced by Situations, Refrain, exploring the area’s links to the story of conscientious objectors and Ernest Everett will take place.

The route will take in typically male domains such as a local pub and the oldest building, the Friends Meeting House as well as outdoor spaces.

It is a new work by Verity Standen, who specialises in using untrained singers, letting them take things in their own direction.
