For the fifthbyear running, The Scoop at More London, the open air amphitheatre at London Bridge, is offering free theatre during the summer. Between 2nd August and 9th September The Steam Industry, in association with the National Youth Theatre, will present two productions at the venue, John Steinbeck's The Grapes Of Wrath and Disney's The Jungle Book KIDS. The same creative team - director Phil Willmott, with musical director Joe Fredericks, lighting designer Hansjorg Schmidt and costume designer Annalise Harvey - is behind both shows, and they will be joined the The Jungle Book by National Theatre puppeteer Toby Olie. In 2003 The Steam Industry performed Oedipus at the venue, followed in 2004 by Agamemnon and Androcles and the Lion. Children of Hercules and Treasure Island followed in 2005 and, last year, the shows were The Caucasian Chalk Circle and Cyclops!.
