A production which had a two-week run at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2015 and which will go on a full tour in 2017 will be performed three times at Buxton Festival Fringe.

NoLogoProductions’ After We Danced is based on real events. It is set in summer 1952. Fran and Finn live in Devon. He has just completed national service while she lives with an overly protective father. Both of them are dreaming of a brighter future and worrying that it will never happen.

When they meet on a beach, it is the start of a relationship that will define their lives. What they do not realise is that it will last only one summer and it will be 60 years until they meet again.

Written and directed by Andy Moseley, After We Danced “combines romance, tragedy and hope as it shows the chasm between reality and what might have been”. Emily Florence Hutchings plays Fran and Peter Pearson is Finn.

After We Danced can be seen at Underground Venues, The Square, Buxton on Tuesday 12 and Thursday 14 July at 4PM and Friday 15 July at 5:30PM.
