There’s Nothin’ Like a Dame – 100 Years of Women in Musical Theatre

Producers of There’s Nothin’ Like a Dame—100 Years of Women in Musical Theatre, a concert featuring Louise Dearman, Ria Jones, Alexia Khadime and Rachel Tucker, are looking for a fifth soloist.

The competition is open to all women who may apply by sending a one-minute video recording of any musical theatre song to [email protected] to arrive no later than 12 noon on 30 July.

The concert takes place on 30 August and applicants must also be available on 29 August. The competition winner, who will be notified by 6 August, will sing a solo in front of an audience of 950.

There’s Nothin’ Like a Dame is the début show of Lambert Jackson and celebrates musical theatre's famous female roles from the classics of Rogers and Hammerstein to Andrew Lloyd Webber and Stephen Schwartz.

Lambert Jackson's CEO, Jamie Lambert, and creative director, Eliza Jackson, are amongst the judging panel.

There’s Nothin’ Like a Dame—100 Years of Women in Musical Theatre takes place at Cadogan Hall London on 30 August.
