Drowning in Silence

A play about grief and loss through the eyes of two sisters Michelle and Jane, Drowning in Silence is at Salford Arts Theatre July 24–26.

Michelle and Jane are sisters who were once very close. All appeared perfect until a family of four became three.

Writer Roni Ellis said, “I have been part of Greater Manchester Fringe over the last few years as a director as well as the joint artistic director of Salford Arts Theatre. This year I wanted to put on a play I had written which started life through intense workshop with actors Emily Cox and Libby Hall. This process has been pretty cathartic and I hope that people see a bit of themselves in the characters and their struggles to cope with changes out of their control.”

Age guidance: 12yrs+.
