Written a Sitcom? Last year producers Declan Hill and Simon Wright organised Sitcom Trials 2007 to find new sitcom writing. Each week four sitcoms competed in the cauldron of a live performance and the audience voted two of them through to the next round. The four sitcoms that made it to the final at the Soho Theatre were seen by an invited audience of industry insiders, and producer Geoff Posner is now in discussions with the winning writer of Sweet As. In 2008, for their work they won a Fringe award for Best Encouragers of Talent. They're now working with the Arts Theatre in the West End to promote new work and are actively looking for new scripts.
