Northampton’s Royal and Derngate is to present a summer school around the theme of The Snow Queen.
Inspired by Royal and Derngate’s 2015 Christmas show and the Disney film Frozen, The Snow Queen Summer School invites children aged from 6 to 13 “to become part of a fantastical icy world”.
Working with experienced workshop leaders, children can explore the wondrous tale in a week of drama activities. Participants will work together to create a tale which will be performed for family and friends at the end of the week.
The summer school will run from 3 until 7 August and from 10 until 14 August in the venue’s Underground space. Places cost £100 per child and can be booked by calling the box office on 01604 624811.
