Marmion Takes Over Soho Steve Marmion, currently Literary Associate at the Soho Theatre, is to take over as Artistic Director from Lisa Goldman, who leaves at the end of June. He has directed Anthony Neilsons play Edward Gants Amazing Feats Of Loneliness at the theatre last year. In the past Marmion has worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre, the Royal Court and the Lyric,Hammersmith, andthis summer he will direct a production of Macbeth for young people at the Open Air Theatre, Regents Park. "Im delighted to welcome Steve to Soho Theatre," Nicholas Allott, the theatre's chairman, said. "He stood out from an incredibly strong field. He is a real talent with a distinctive vision and I predict exciting times ahead for Soho Theatre." He joins the company in July.
