The Sound of Silence The Simon and Garfunkel Story

Fifty years since the most successful folk/rock duo of all time recorded their first no 1 hit single, The Sound of Silence The Simon and Garfunkel Story comes to Oldham Coliseum on October 4.

Featuring West End award-winning leading man Dean Elliott (from Buddy - The Musical) and a cast of actor-musicians, the show tells the story of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel from their beginnings as rock ‘n’ roll duo Tom and Jerry, through their massive success, dramatic break-up and finishing with a recreation of the 1981 Central Park reunion concert.

Using projections, the show features both original photos and film footage whilst a live band perform hits including "Mrs Robinson", "Cecilia", "Bridge Over Troubled Water", "Homeward Bound", "Sound of Silence" and more.

The production will also visit Stockport Plaza on October 5.
