Autumn in Southwark

Southwark Playhouse has announced its autumn programme, alongside news of a new ticket-buying system and low-cost previews.

The season is:

Runaway Theatre, in association with Paperbag Theatre, presents
Creditors
By August Strindberg, in a new version by Joseph Blatchley and John Kerr
Translation by Marc-Vincent Howlett and Maria Elisabeth Moritz
Directed by Joseph Blatchley, with Nicholas Figgis, Cassie Rain and Tom McClane
6th - 24th September, previews on 6th and 7th.

Nevertheless Theatre Company presents
'Tis Pity She's a Whore
By John Ford
Directed by Edward Dick
Associate Director & Director of Movement Jane Gibson
28th September - 22nd October (Previews: 28th, 29th, 30th September & 1st October at 7.30pm)

Clean Break presents
Mercy Fine
By Shelley Silas
Directed by Natasha Betteridge
Designed by Bernadette Roberts
8th - 26th November (Previews: 8th & 9th)

Southwark Playhouse presents
The Canterville Ghost
By Oscar Wilde, adapted by John Kane
Directed by Gareth Machin; designed by Laura McEwen; musical direction by Russell Hepplewhite
30th November - 23rd December

All bookings are now to be made through TicketWeb, either by telephone or via the internet. The booking fee has been incorporated into the ticket price so no extra charge is incurred.

All preview tickets will now be charged at £6.
