Manchester Royal Exchange’s autumn/winter 2016 season has already proved to be the theatre’s fastest selling season ever.
In 24 hours, more than 5,200 tickets were sold for the new season and included the fastest-selling show on record: A Streetcar Named Desire with Maxine Peake.
From classic drama and new writing to a full-scale Broadway musical, the mix of provocative theatre has clearly excited audiences.
