Newcastle's Northern Stage has announced its spring 2015 season, which features one in-house show, a co-production with the Royal and Derngate, Northampton, of Anthony Burgess's translation of Cyrano de Bergerac.
Cyrano will run from 29 April to 16 May.
Visiting productions include:
- Birdsong Productions with Sebastian Faulks' Birdsong (23 to 28 April)
- Lands of Glass (26 to 28 February) from Unfolding Theatre in association with Northern Stage, winner of the theatre's 2013 Title Pending award
- Standby for Tape Back-Up by Show and Tell (10 to 11 March)
- Filter and the Tobacco Factory's version of Macbeth (10 to 14 March)
- Ultima Vez in association with the Dance Touring Partnership presenting a revival of Wim Vanderkeybus's 1987 What the Body Does Not Remember (17 to 18 March)
- Theatre Alibi's production of Michael Morpurgo's I Believe in Unicorns (16 to 18 April)
- Another children's show, Big Red Bath, adapted from the children's book by Julia Jarman and Adrian Reynolds (7 to 9 May)
