The Stage 100 Awards

In addition to its listing of the Top 100 people in theatre, industry newspaper The Stage has announced its first Stage 100 Awards which recognise the contribution made by performing arts organisations. This is the first of what will become an annual event.

The Awards go to:

• The Royal Court - London Theatre of the Year
• Northampton's Royal & Derngate - Regional Theatre of the Year
• The Finborough - Fringe Theatre of the Year
• English Touring Theatre - Producer of the Year
• Sylvia Young Theatre School - Performing Arts School of the Year

The judging panel was Stage editor Brian Attwood and deputy editor Alistair Smith, critics Mark Shenton and Aleks Sierz, Stage education/training editor Susan Elkin and former Theatrical Management Association president and Stage backstage editor AK Bennett Hunter.
