Liverpool’s Everyman Theatre is included in a special stamp set issued by Royal Mail to celebrate contemporary architecture in the UK.
Rehoused in a new building in 2014, the large stage, which projects into an auditorium of close-packed seating and was inspired by the Everyman’s former space, creating an intense relationship between actors and viewers.
The Everyman was the Winner of the RIBA Stirling Prize for Building of the Year (2014).
