The autumn 2015 programme at Warwick Arts Centre is “one of its strongest ever”, according to the Coventry venue.

One of the highlights is Complicite’s The Encounter, given a five-star review by the BTG’s Philip Fisher when it was performed at the Edinburgh International Festival. The story of a photographer lost in the Amazon is brought to life by Simon McBurney and the audience wears headphones throughout the performance. It will be staged at Warwick Arts Centre from Thursday until Saturday, 8 until 10 October.

“Big, heartfelt stories” will be performed including Kneehigh’s take on The Beggar’s Opera, Dead Dog in a Suitcase (and other love songs), from 27 until 31 October, Headlong’s new production of Tennessee Williams’s The Glass Menagerie featuring Greta Scacchi, from 10 until 14 November and for Christmas Tall Stories’ The Gruffalo’s Child from 26 November until 3 January and a new interactive family adventure The Lost Gift from 12 until 31 December.

The full programme is available at the Warwick Arts Centre web site.
