Natalie Imbruglia is one of many familiar faces playing Churchill Theatre Bromley this summer.

Ex–Neighbours star and Brit Award–winning pop singer Imbruglia makes her UK drama début in a major new production of Things We Do For Love, which starts its national tour now and gets to Bromley in June.

Directed by Laurence Boswell, artistic director of the Theatre Royal Bath’s Ustinov Studio, Alan Ayckbourn’s sharp and insightful play also stars Claire Price, Edward Bennett and Simon Gregor.

Claire Price plays Barbara. Amongst her stage credits are The Winter’s Tale and The Daughter-in-Law at Sheffield Crucible and The Power Of Yes at the National Theatre, whilst her television works includes DS Siobhan Clarke in two series of Rebus and Alison in two series of The Knock.

The West End credits of Edward Bennett who plays Hamish include Laertes in Hamlet with David Tennant and One Man, Two Guvnors on UK tour and abroad. His film and television credits include War Horse, Above Suspicion, Miranda and Silent Witness.

Simon Gregor, whose previous roles include the Fool in King Lear alongside David Haig, American Psycho at the Almeida Theatre and To Kill A Mockingbird at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre plays Gilbert.

Last Of The Duty Free reunites Keith Barron, Gwen Taylor and Neil Stacy and John Godber’s Olivier-nominated Comedy April In Paris stars Coronation Street's Shobna Gulati and Joe McGann whose credits include Calender Girls, Upper Hand and The Hanging Gale).

Comedy also comes from Dawn French in her first solo tour in a new show, 30 Million Minutes, based on her life and career.

On a murderous note Agatha Christie’s first play Black Coffee features Poirot, arguably the most famous detective of all time and the only fictional character ever to receive an obituary in the New York Times.

For musicals, there are classics Annie Get Your Gun starring Jonathan Wilkes. The score includes show–stopper "There’s No Business Like Show Business" and the hummable "Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better".

For lovers of the 80s, Rock Of Ages comes to Bromley starring Ben Richards and Noel Sullivan and Fame – The Musical based on the Oscar–winning musical film and TV series is back and brought up to date in a new production.

Closing the summer is Joseph And the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
