Taking Flight at New Diorama Theatre

Taking Flight is a short festival to be held at London's New Diorama Theatre on 5 and 6 February.

Three new plays by emerging British East Asian, South Asian and South East Asian writers are being produced by Red Dragonfly Productions, having been selected by competition.

The works are:

  • Ketchup by Sammy Wong, born and raised in Longsight, Manchester to a Vietnamese Chinese family
  • Hema Anjali by Chandni Lakhani, a now London-based playwright and screenwriter born into a Gujarati-Indian family.
  • 100% of Nothing is Nothing by Singaporean Joan C Guyll who lives on the Kent coast.

The director is Ross Ericson.
