The Hawth, Crawley announces its new season

The Hawth has announced it's new season for winter 2014-15 with comedy, music family shows, dance, film and a few new unexpected events.

Music is an important part of the season with blues, jazz, big bands, rock 'n' roll, classical brass and folk.

The Russian Stage Philharmonic kicks off the classical season with a selection of Russian masterpieces, followed by Kando Bongo Man and the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.

Michael Rosen's We're Going on a Bear Hunt is in October, with another tale for children, Cressida Cowell's Emily Brown and the Thing, to follow in November.

Sleeping Beauty is the pantomime in December with Stephen Mulhern back by popular demand and CBeebie's Cat Sandion as Fairy Moonbeam.

Younger audiences can also enjoy Robin's Winter Adventure in December in the Studio.

English Youth Ballet's Coppélia is in October and will feature local young talent as part of the cast, and later in the year Strictly Come Dancing's Brendan Cole is back in January with his brand new show A Night to Remember.

Calamity Jane will fill the stage with music and dance in November.
